ALL HALLOWS - A CHURCH OF SIGNIFICANCE
All Hallows Church has recently gained the status of "A Significant Church in England", which is a wonderful achievement. This means that Major Parish Churches represent some of the most significant and well-loved places of worship in England. The Church Buildings Council (CBC) has identified 300 such churches across the country, which offer different aspects of being a church. All Hallows is a significant historical building as well as a place of worship.
These are exceptionally significant parish church buildings with a different scale of opportunities and challenges compared to the vast majority of the 12,267 listed Church of England church buildings.
