CALENDAR RAISES FUNDS

Shirley Waddington of Kirkburton used her talents to create a calendar for the community, and has kindly donated the profits from the sales to the Heating Fund. The calendar has pictures showing scenes in and around Kirkburton. Shirley is seen here presenting the cheque for over £400 to John Keighley. A big thank you to Shirley from all at All Hallows.

NOTHING FOR THE JOURNEY
A SPONSORED WALK BASED ON THE GOSPEL.

On 11 July I will begin a 322 mile walk that will start from the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield, and finish at Buckfast Abbey, Devon.
My walk will be based on Luke 9:3. I will take no money with me, completely trusting on God and the kindness of strangers. All the funds I raise will go to support refugees held in a camp in Zimbabwe and also to the care of the seriously disabled residents of Mutemwa, also in Zimbabwe.
